IL CEDAC E IL CIRCO ARTICO
A Yakutia, situata nella Siberia orientale, si trova il circo stabile più al nord del mondo. L'avamposto circense nell'area con temperatura minore di tutto il globo. Qui si è tenuto il primo forum internazionale dedicato al tema: "Arti circensi nell'Artide". Evento organizzato dall'intraprendente Sergey Rastorguev, artista emerito del popolo russo. Il forum è stato seguito passo per passo dai responsabili più alti delle istituzioni culturali del paese, sino al vice Ministro della cultura o all'ex Presidente della Repubblica, ed era basato su di un ciclo di conferenze, dibattiti e spettacoli. Tre giorni che hanno avuto come obiettivo di favorire lo scambio delle esperienze europee con quelle russe ed indigene e di definire possibili strategie di sviluppo per il circo stabile locale, il Sakha Diamond Circus, così chiamato per la caratteristica volta a forma di diamante (uno dei prodotti locali di punta). Alle conferenze sono intervenuti l'artista e regista kazako Daulet Dosbatyrov, Helmut Grosscurth, editore della rivista Planet Circus, i responsabili del Festival Internacional del Circ Ciutat de Figueres, Genis Matabosch e Joan Mompart, Irina Osintsova, direttrice artistica dello Studio del Circo di Mosca, il giornalista Alexander Thomas, Alessandro Serena, responsabile del CEDAC e professore di Storia del circo dell'Università di Milano e Ahara Bischof, coordinatrice artistica di Circo e dintorni. La delegazione italiana ha illustrato l'attività dell'Ente Nazionale Circhi, quella della formazione universitaria e in particolare ha spiegato le caratteristiche e le attività del Centro Educativo di Documentazione delle Arti Circensi di Verona. Al forum sono arrivati i saluti della leggenda della clownerie russa Oleg Popov, del nuovo direttore del Bolshoi Circus di Mosca e star dello spettacolo popolare Edgar Zapachny e di Maxim Nikulin, direttore del circo titolato al padre.
CEDAC AND THE ARTIC CIRCUS
A Yakutia, in East Siberia, the most Nordic and stable circus is located. There, the first international forum dedicated to the theme "Circus arts in the Artic area" took place with the organization of the determined Sergey Rastorguev, emeritus artist in Russia. The forum was also followed by the highest cultural institutions of the country - like the Minister of Culture and the ex-President of the Republic - and was based on a cycle of lectures, debates and shows. This forum's goal is that of proposing new strategies to develop the local stable circus, the Sahka Diamond Circus, so called because its shape is that of a diamond. At the conference, the Kasabian artist and director Daulet Dosbatyrov, the editor of the magazine Planet Circus, Helmut Grosscurth, Genis Matabosch and Joan Mompart - responsibles of the International Circus Festival of Figueres -, Irina Onsitsova - director of the Circus Studio in Moscow -, Alexander Thomas - journalist -, Alessandro Serena - head of CEDAC research section and Professor at Milano University - and Ahara Bischof - artistic coordinator of "Circus and Surroudings" - intervened. The Italian crew explained the function of the Circus National Institute, of the university formation and in particular the function of CEDAC in Verona. Also the greetings from the Russian clownerie legend Olev Popov, from the new director of Circus Bolshoi in Mosca and from popular stars like Edgar Zapachny and Maxim Nikulin (director of the circus entitled to his father's memory) arrived to the forum.
