DISCUSSIONI DI CIRCO ALL'UNIVERSITA'

Continua lo studio delle discipline circensi all’Università degli Studi di Milano. Venerdì 27 maggio sono state discusse due tesi di interesse circense che, unite alle tre dissertate nel mese di aprile portano ad oltre 40 gli elaborati prodotti presso l’ateneo del capoluogo lombardo negli ultimi sei anni. I candidati delle due sessioni di Laurea hanno affrontato svariati argomenti circensi. Quest’ultima sessione ha visto Silvia Mele discutere la tesi intitolata Circo e teatro a Milano 2004-2010, e Roberto Barbieri presentare l’elaborato Fellini e il circo. Analisi di una passione. Interessante segnalare anche i temi presentati nella precedente sessione di aprile: Il circo per ragazzi in Italia, tra crescita e formazione di Francesca De Bernardi, Arcipelago Circo Teatro. Il Nouveau Cirque in Italia redatta da Rebecca Magosso e Il Teatro di Varietà a Milano nei periodici della Belle Époque interessante studio discusso daStefania Bianchi. In tutti e cinque gli studi, accanto al Relatore, ProfessorAlessandro Serena, la correlatrice Camilla Guaita. Il CEDAC continua ad avere importanza centrale per gli studenti impegnati nelle ricerche necessarie ai loro lavori di fine percorso accademico, per il fornito archivio messo a disposizione e per l’assistenza prestata direttamente dal Direttore Antonio Giarola e dai collaboratori del Centro. Inoltre, un breve saggio che evidenzia ulteriormente il supporto del CEDAC agli studi accademici è stato pubblicato di recente nel volume L’Acrobata. Quaderno di studi sulle arti circensi, a cura di Alessandro Serena ed edito da Cuem.

CIRCUS DISCUSSIONS AT THE UNIVERSITY

The study of the circus disciplines continues at the University of the Studies in Milan. On Friday 27th May have been discussed two theses of circus interest that, added to the three dissertates during the month of April, bring to over than 40 the elaborates products by the athenaeum of the chief town in the last six years. The candidates of the two sessions of Degree have faced varied circus matters. This last session has seen Silvia Mele discussing the thesis titled Circus and theatre in Milan 2004-2010, and Roberto Barbieri introducing the elaborate Fellini and the circus. Analysis of a passion. It’s interesting also to focus the attention on the themes introduced in the preceding session of April: The circus for children in Italy, between growth and formation by Francesca De Bernardi, Arcipelago Circo Teatro. The Nouveau Cirque in Italy compiled by Rebecca Magosso and The Theatre of Variety in Milan in the periodicals of the Belle Époque interesting study discussed by Stefania Bianchi. In all the five studies, near the Professor Alessandro Serena, also the ProfessorCamilla Guaita.

The CEDAC continues to have a central importance for the students engaged on the researches focused on their academic works, for the furnished archive and for the assistance directly lent by the Director Dr. Antonio Giarola and by the collaborators of the Centre. Besides, a brief essay that underlines further on the support of the CEDAC to the academic studies has been recently published in the volume The acrobat. Notebook of studies on the circus arts, edited by Alessandro Serena and published by Cuem.
