IL CEDAC APRE LE PORTE ALLA SECONDA GIORNATA MONDIALE DEL CIRCO

Dopo il successo riscosso in tutto il mondo con la Prima Giornata Mondiale, il prossimo 16 aprile 2011, la World Circus Federation ha indetto la “Seconda Giornata Mondiale del Circo” patrocinata, come già avvenuto lo scorso anno, da SAS la Principessa Stephanie di Monaco. La valorizzazione del circo, la sua valenza culturale e la sensibilizzazione dei media sulla necessità di adottare normative comuni che tutelino l’attività circense e, in particolare, l’addestramento degli animali, in tutto il territorio europeo e mondiale, sono i punti su cui si fonda l’iniziativa.

Anche l’Italia ha aderito all’evento promosso, tramite l’Ente Nazionale Circhi i cui soci, assieme a tutti coloro che vorranno festeggiare il circo, terranno aperti gratuitamente gli chapiteaux, gli zoo ed effettueranno dimostrazioni proprio sull’addestramento degli animali.

In modo particolare, Verona, sede dell’Ente Nazionale, dell’Accademia d’Arte Circense e del CEDAC (Centro Educativo di Documentazione delle Arti Circensi) sarà la sede degli eventi principali sostenuti e supportati anche dal Club degli Amici del Circo. Il CEDAC, per l’occasione, aprirà la propria sede di Via Garbini, 15 dalle ore 10.00 alle 18.00 con orario continuato a tutti coloro che desidereranno fare un piccolo grande viaggio nella storia della pista di ieri e di oggi, ripercorrendo le tappe dei protagonisti più illustri della pista di sempre. Si tratta di un evento prezioso che vuole dimostrare quanto l’arte circense sia ricca di significati non solo artistici, e detentrice di un alto valore culturale e sociale che unisce migliaia di appassionati in tutto il mondo.

THE CEDAC OPENS ITS CENTRE TO SECOND INTERNATIONAL WORLD CIRCUS DAY

After the success enjoyed during the first World Day, the coming April 16th, 2011, the World Circus Federation has fixed the Second International World Circus Day, supported, as happened also for the past year, by the Princess Stephanie of Monaco. 

The circus’ enhancement, its cultural value and the sensitisation of the media on the necessity to adopt common regulations and rules to protect circus activities, especially the once concerning the animals training, in the whole European and world territory, are the points on which the initiative founds its. 

Also Italy has joined to the promoted event through the National Corporate of Circuses whose partners, together with all the people who will want to celebrate the circus, will keep open free their chapiteaux, zoos, effecting also demonstrations on the animals training.

In particular, Verona, centre of the National Corporate, of the Circus Art Academyand of the CEDAC (Educational Centre of Documentation of Circus Arts) will be place of the major events supported and sustained also by the Club of the Italian Circus Friends. The CEDAC, on that occasion, will open its centre site in Via Garbini, 15, from 10 am. to 6 pm. with continuous hours, to all the people who will desire to live a special journey throughout the history of the old and contemporary ring, on travelling over the steps of the most prestigious protagonists of the circus ring of ever.  

It’s a particular and precious event who will demonstrate how the circus art is rich not only in artistic significant and meanings, but is also holding a high cultural and social value that join together thousands of passionate and fans all over the world.
